Policies and Etiquette

Arrival & Preparation

• Arrive Early: Arrive at least 30 to 60 minutes before your scheduled treatment. This allows you to check in, change into provided robes and slippers, and utilize amenities like the eucalyptus steam room, sauna, or fireside pool area before your session begins.
• Hygiene: It is standard practice to shower before entering communal facilities like the pool, and before your treatment.

Proper Attire

• Swimwear is Mandatory: Bathing suits are required for the infinity pool and public areas.
• Robes & Slippers: The spa provides plush robes and sandals for use in the relaxation lounges and when moving between treatment rooms.
• Locker Use: Store your street clothes and personal belongings in the provided lockers. It is recommended to leave jewelry and high-value items at home or in your hotel safe.

Atmosphere & Conduct

• Silence Devices: To respect the tranquility of the space, turn off or silence all mobile phones and leave them in your locker.
• Keep Conversations Low: Maintain a soft voice in communal areas like the pool deck and relaxation lounges to avoid disrupting other guests’ experiences.
• Pool Usage: The indoor infinity pool is for wading and relaxation only; diving and swimming laps are not permitted.

Gratuity & Tipping

• Standard Rates: Tipping is customary for spa services.

Age Requirements

• Minimum Age: You must be at least 16 years old to access the spa facilities, including the infinity pool and saunas as well as receive treatments.

Alcohol Policy

• Service On-Site: The spa traditionally offers food and beverages, including champagne and wine, which can be enjoyed in the fireside lounge or on the outdoor patio overlooking the city.
• No Outside Alcohol: In accordance with California liquor laws and hotel policy, guests are prohibited from bringing their own alcohol into the spa.
• Safety First: For your safety, the staff may limit alcohol consumption if you are using heat-based amenities like the steam room or sauna, as alcohol can increase the risk of dehydration and overheating.
